Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely valuable asset to someone with a little motivation to save themselves some hard earned money!Read full review
I purchased this product to assist me in tracking down a wiring issue. If you don't know how to read diagrams, they are extremely difficult to comprehend. This book is geared for the seasoned mechanic and is the perfect diagnostic tool. The only thing I did not like about the book was the step-by-step directions. The directions have too many "refer to" points. Other than having to turn to a different section to continue a repair, The book has complete and accurate information.
I've owned numerous Haynes manuals. Keep one in each car.
