I really have nothing bad to say about LOTR: The Two Towers soundtrack. Howard Shore does a fantastical job of capturing the true essence of Peter Jackson's world of Middle Earth. The music is so moving and so beautiful. You will be able to just close your eyes and take the journey through Middle Earth by just listening to the soundtrack. It's that good! I felt like the movie was playing in my head all over again.
No scratches on artwork, clean disc, arrived early, everything worked out. Thanks!

While perhaps not as dramatic as the it's other two companions (Fellowship of the ring and Return of the King) this is some excellent composing and womderful performances. The desperate situations of invading hordes bent on destruction of all free peoples in their path is captured brilliantly by and for those not able to remember WWII can provide a glimpse of the emotions that gripped the world as the Axis powers stormed their way to victory after victory. Gollum's Song provides the final link with the lunacy behind such endevors! You'll want to get the entire collection!
This CD is just fantastic. Besides for the movie, we also picked up this CD as London Philharmonic Orchestra as well as many very talented Soloist played on this Original Soundtrack. Absolutely wonderful classical music. A great CD for your library. I enjoy several tracks but seen to lean toward The Uruk-Hai.
I've been a fan of Tolkien since reading his original LOTR trilogy. I became a bigger fan when the film adaptations were released, and in my mind, a significant part of those films' successes were due to the the way the scores captured Tolkien's world - arguably more effectively than what was actually shot. So I love to listen to the music, not only to remember being in the theater enjoying the movie for the first time, but for all the times I've spent being involved with Tolkien's world.
