Although yes, there are spaces for where the original went to commercial (made for TV obviously), the video and sound are good. I have only been through the first DVD so far - let's say this is the beginner version - and it covers a lot of stretching techniques. I have previewed the second DVD and it looks more advanced. I would think you could combine a segmaent of DVD 1 with a segment of DVD 2 for a great workout. I am very pleased so far.
I felt that this was not worth my time, and could continue watching or doing it. I was so bored. Not challenging, and the music could put you to sleep. You can hardly hear the "instructor" speak. It was Made-for-TV! So, it has pauses where commercials should be. I did not know this before purchasing. Too bad, too late for me. Not too late for you! It is not worth your money. It was definitely not worth MY money. I am sorry there was no review at the time I purchased.
It is a good workout if you are familiar with pilates and it has easy instructions. It is set in a very peaceful way with not really alot of music going on so you can better concetrate on everything that you have to do. Would definately recommend having an excersie mat.
The programs are each about 22 minutes each which makes them very easy to fit in to most anyone's schedule. Jennifer Tilley is actually the teacher who leads these sessions ith Shelly McDonald.
It has 20 min. work-outs which is great for when you just have a littl bit of time before work or something. The workouts are great for such a short time.
