I say 2/5 because it looks better than it sounds . if thats the only think you can fit due to heigth and smallow depth its okay but rememember center ch is 90% of of a movie so if you can fit something like a polk cs150 ( or better ) you will enjoy movies much more . the cambridge has no bass ( thats okay if you got a sub or good mains ) but the tweeter is to loud/bright that will make loud passages and wont sound right . So if you toned down the tweeter and had a sub in the system it might be okay , I wouldnt expect a in your face loud vocal area either if its loud its the tweeter not the voices and the voices are most of what you want , I read it wont match up to the other cambridge speakers to well actually the other cambridge bookshelf type do sound better . but it is a well built solid cabinet and could be made to sound greatRead full review
I had actually purchases a newer model of this speaker (maybe the center channel II) but I have used this model in the past and 2 to me - the newer version did not have the range or resonane of this speaker. It is perfect in every way. If you are purchasing Home Theatre In A Box you are truly missing out on audiophile quality speakers that reproduce sounds perfectly, I don't bother with any other brand - although I haven't heard their 300 or 600 model speakers. I did not like the enseble II, III, or iv. Shop around and find th original models - to my ear they are the best around.
I got this speaker at an unbeleivable price, because of a few scratchs, actually it is perfect and it would take at least 250 dollars to get close to the quality.
