This book by Jack Chipman is a wealth of information. It is loaded with photos. It is also has a slightly different format with the information arranged by decades / years. I highly recommend this book to any collector of vintage California pottery.

It's a lovely book. I would like it better if it were arranged alphabetically by companies instead of by decades, but I will undoubtedly come back to it again and again.

Love this book, for me, as a fairly new collector of California pottery. It has great full color pictures, with some what of a price guide. It is a great way to learn your california pottery styles and learn what to look for, as well as learning the different artists, and their particular styles. I think this is a great book for a beginner or intermediate collector to use as a guide, very nicely done.
The book California Pottery Scrapbook is definately a must have. It has great pictures, many companies are listed, It started from the very early years to the current. Some of the items I didn't realize who actually made them. It's also a book you will refer to often. The price certainly was good for this book. Thanks for letting me share. Janet
This is a great book to get a feel for some of the different California Potteries and the years that they were in production. This however is not a great book to establish value on pieces unless it just happens to be one of the pieces in the book. I recommend this book for study on general identification of california pottery but not as a resource to get values. A very informative book but not a price guide.
