These are perfect if you’re looking for compact, yet sturdy binoculars. They have a good, solid feel in the hands and perform well. Adjustments made to them stay in place and they are very good at eliminating “blind eye” or double vision. Focal adjustments can easily be made while using them with little effort and the clarity is brilliant. They are genuine Bushnell’s in every way but in a smaller, compact size.

I guess the adage "you get what you pay for" is as true now as ever, and it is perhaps amazing that this product works as well as it does for about 35 bucks. It's attractive and sturdy enough, but the image is nowhere near as clear as that of a 35-year old binocular of the Swift brand, of a very similar design, that I own. I can't prove it, but it appears to my eye that the lenses in the this Bushnell product are plastic. Also, although the directions for the Bushnell cheapie say the eye cups can be folded down, and should be when using glasses, they don't actually fold down, and this is perhaps one reason why it's hard to get a clear image- the eyepiece aperture is farther from the eye than optimum. This binocular is good enough for occasional use, like keeping in your car.

I will be honest the price point pulled me in. I googled info on what type of binoculars for my needs (hiking, nature walks) and lens types, ease of use. The Bushnell binos suited me exactly I love them.

Compared to my Nikons, not equal. But an excellent pair of glasses for the price. Crisp optics, solid design, nice feel. Glad I got them.
