While this unit is a strong, heavy duty use dot optic, it lacks the etched crosshair of the 332 & 536. This may make a difference to some and does to me. I assumed they were the same as the 332 with different magnification--my mistake. For this reason, the user needs to be sure to augment this optic with BUIS of some sort. Other than that, it's got decent glass and a wide range of dot brightness adjustment.

CONS: - lens outer coating is not as in pictures (silver vs. ruby) - images shrink in size when looking through sight (seems to be 0.75x, not "A True 1x") - upper 1/3rd of sight picture has inner reflection, especially noticed in ambient lower-light situations (resembles glue or contaminated surface) - control knob has a short circuit and other problems; the lower green settings flicker (bright-dim-off-bright-off-dim) - depending on battery cover tightness, red and green dot come on at same time, and sometimes sight will not turn off - red dot resolution is okay, but green has non-circular shape and tremendous back-glare in low-light situations PROS: - looks good - has extra rail mounting surfaces

Good product for the price. I have other scopes by Burris and they are well made products that all perform as expected.

Have several of these. Got the first one as a gift, then bought more and put others on other firearms. Red or Green Dot with multiple settings for almost all conditions. Battery life is very good and sight is very rugged. Dropped one down a culvert and the sight worked fine afterwards although the rifle didn't fair as well. Put one on a pistol too with no problems with recoil or holding a zero.
