This Bunn is a very good coffee maker for anyone that doesn't mind spending a little more to get a very well built appliance. We usually go through two pots per morning and brew time is fast. Once you pour the water in brewing starts immediately. I have not upgraded my coffee but believe a finer ground coffee would produce a stronger flavor, not that it is bad and most would probably enjoy however I like STRONG flavor. The materials used are industrial grade and in my opinion should last for many years. This is our second Bunn, the first being a store bought model that was mostly plastic but lasted almost eight years. Bought a couple of other less expensive brands since then and never been happy with the quality of anything other than Bunn. This brewer is over twice the cost of a big box store model but the difference is akin to a Sherman tank and a Prius. No chrome wheel or disco ball options, just a really well built brewer.Read full review

My wife and I drink coffee - LOTS of coffee! Every day. Yes, we love our mud. In 28 years time, we've gone through 5 or 6 auto-drip machines (mid-range models bought locally), and ONE Bunn. That Bunn lasted over 10 years! I bought this A-10 about 8 months ago, when our venerable Bunn B4 bit the dust. Was immediately impressed with the exterior, much more professional-looking than our older unit. Easier to keep clean too, thanks to more stainless, darker plastic, and a squared-off water tank. Ours still looks brand new, with only minimal cleaning of the outside. Nice. As far as function goes, what can I say? Doesn't brew any better than our older, cheaper Bunn, but it brews exactly the same. Which is to say excellent. Our water is fairly hard, so we run the deliming spring through it and clean the sprayhead every 6 weeks - but that's not a major operation at all. We're rewarded with consistently good coffee in less time than it takes to brush your teeth. Yes, it costs more than the garish models gracing the shelves at Wally World, etc, but that's really a short-sighted way to look at value. We got over 10 years out of our last Bunn (a low-end model, mind you), compared to the average of 2-3 years for most other home units. That's real value in my book. The combination of performance, looks, and durability made Bunn A-10 the obvious choice for me. The lack of uneccessary gimmicks was also a big selling point. And, your money goes to Illinois, not overseas. A rare combination these days. Made-in-USA, and top of the line. How 'bout that? If you want great coffee fast, and a machine that will outlast your alimony payments, then buy a quality coffeemaker - without the gimmicky add-ons. Buy a Bunn! UPDATE: 8/10/16: Still looks and performs like new. Winner.Read full review
I purchased the BUNN A10 coffee maker for a couple of reasons. First and foremost is that I have used BUNN in my home for years. Three minutes to a pot of steaming coffee is excellent when first getting up in the morning. Additionally, when having guests over, making additional pots of coffee is very quick. Secondly, my wife and I are having our kitchen enlarged/remodeled. So I wanted a new coffee maker. I liked the style of the A10 over the traditional models typical for home use. It will not brew any faster than my old BUNN, but it will fit in nicely with the stainless steel appliances. Again, I like the quality of BUNN. It is Made in America, and while it may cost more than other drip coffee makers, it is not encumbered with clocks, built in grinders, and the like. There are many fine coffee makers available, but most take 8 to 10 minutes to make a pot and that is simply too long for me and is really a major inconvenience when entertaining. Cleaning a BUNN is very simple and quick. The spray head extracts more flavor out of the coffee. I cannot say enough good about it. BUNN customer service is top notch. They are there when you call (normal business hours) and can advise one on making a proper cup of coffee, answering questions about strength and bitterness, etc. There is no long wait time. And they will answer an email within 24 hours. Those reasons alone are worth the price. Quite frankly, buying any other make of coffee maker is a waste of time and money in my humble opinion. The coffee is strong, without bitterness. It is consistently at the right temperature. Company is always impressed with the speed at which I make coffee. They are equally impressed with the smoothness and flavor quality. And I do not use gourmet coffee or grind beans. Just a national brand, off the shelf coffee. The results are truly amazing once you have figured out the number of 'scoops' you need for the strength you like. And again, if someone has difficulty with this, one only needs to call BUNN for assistance. You cannot go wrong with a BUNN and I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking to improve their coffee drinking experience.Read full review
My children bought me a new Bunn coffeemaker in 1985 when we moved into our home here in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and I am STILL using it. I have always used the Bunn filters with it and get a great cup of coffee. The Bunn filters are a little taller in the brew cup and keep the grounds from getting into the coffee pot. I have bought the last 2 or 3 THOUSAND Bunn filters from eBay because they are economical and always on hand since I buy 1000 at a time. If the price goes up, I may stop buying them but for now I am very pleased with every aspect of them and will continue to buy them on eBay most likely.

These are full-sized, voluptuous filters to fit a size 10 or 12 drip style coffee maker. They work. These filters are great. I never had thought that the height of coffee filters would be linked to fashion and skirt length, but somehow, it must be. After looking at all retail outlets in my small town and some retail sources in a couple of other, larger metropolitan areas, I found that all of the available filters were these little, skimpy things with no sides, and just like stuff falls out with short skirts, coffee grounds floated over the top edge of the filter, and wound up in the coffee pot, in the cup, and in my mouth. I hate when that happens. These filters are not those little teeny-boppers with coffee grounds in your teeth. These are honest, full-sized granny filters that hold those grounds where they belong, in the filter, in the basket, and these Bunn filters hold the coffee grounds right there until they go in the trash, compost, or garden. OUTSTANDING!Read full review
