This book goes over every aspect you could want. I purchased it as I have been very interested in converting my 1995 Saturn to all electric. It lists awesome websites that will work with you on exactly what conversion kit to purchase and price point, also tech help. It turns out it doesn't seem all that difficult. I plan on converting my car next Spring with a kit and then purchasing a solar charger as well, so my car will almost completely off the grid! I can't wait!!!
Seems like this book was mostly written to convince the reader that an electric car is a good idea rather than actually give them the information needed to build their own, as the tittle would imply.

Good book. The book could be made a lot better my including some of additonal information for chassis selection that is available in the EV America technical papers. Breakdown of cost information appears to be on low side. A cost comparsion between multiple vendors would have been good.
Very outdated. More info on YouTube that is usable. Not returning as I would not spend more time dealing with this.

This book contains the best information that I've come across so far on the subject. It provides all the formulae and technical information you need while keeping it simple enough to understand. This book has definitely helped me with my project.
