I love Bugera products. This is the third BXD model I’ve bought. I was so satisfied with both the 12 inch speaker model and the 15 inch model, I bought the one with the aluminum cone just to have it. I’ve used it in my home studio and have taken the 12 inch one on many gigs since the 15s are a little too heavy for me to lug around at my age. It has all the bells and whistles of much more expensive apps. I own a number of vintage and high end bass and guitar amps and aside from the occasional tube change on the valve models, I’ve never had a problem with Bugera stuff. I love that you can tilt it back, Which is helpful in a live setting and in the studio I both might get and use the direct out and I’ve gotten great results. I’ve used it with both active and passive pick ups as well as wireless rigs and have been very satisfied. Finally, I don’t know how Musictribe does it but getting these at a refurb price with free delivery allows me to have an army of amps guilt free.Read full review

The Class D rated power is 1000 watts. That would be the equivalent to peak power. Using the RMS formula, that would work out to roughly 700 watts RMS. I prefer using a 50/50 split when figuring RMS. That way, you’re getting a more conservative power rating versus harmonic distortion. Considering this combo has a single 15” full range driver and no tweeter, it delivers a lot of punch and volume; for such a compact package. At well under 50 pounds, it makes for a ready companion to spontaneous jams or band practice sessions. I would say that small venues are well covered. The on board DI gives PA access. An effects loops is another nice feature. The gain control acts more like an input matching control, than an overdrive. Both the gain and master controls appear to be linear, so they have a wider sweep. The master also has a surround LED pilot light around it…. Looks kinda cool and techie. Each control has a very snug feel of quality and all are noise free. I use multi effects and half go into the input, off my bass and the rest go thru the loop. The latter are my coloration effects. All in all, it’s a very well made product. The visual appearance says total class. The gold nameplate over black screen grill, makes it look like a much more expensive amp. I’m still playing with the sound, but am convinced it easily meets my needs for a smaller rig. Alittle about myself- I played in weekend bans very regularly for 34 years. Trace Elliot, Ampeg, Fender and Roland amps are some of the main rigs I own.Read full review

Good Sound and lot's of power. The power cord comes loose occasionally. I've tried different power cords and the same thing happens. It's something about the power three prong source on the amp that needs to be "tweeked" a little. Other than that......Good Amp

I'm really happy with this amp, it is loud and crisp, sounds awesome! Seriously, don't waste your money on more expensive amps. This Amp is by far better than them all....! Go to a music store and play it before you buy it for you to understand what I am writing about.
