I am a huge Springsteen fan, so my review may be biased. I recently saw the Wrecking Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden - and the Boss just continues to both rock, and speak to the times. This album may not be his very best, but it is quite good. Love some of the added sounds of the brass and the way Bruce stays current with his message. The man is a poet with an electric guitar that never disappoints. Truly one of the great rockers, a man for the people and an inspiration. This album lives up to some of his best stuff - I am a throwback, so was glad to feel myself connecting so easily with these songs. He's as great as ever.
This cd is a major disappointment from 'The Boss'- I have been a fan of Mr Springsteen's since the early days of his career back in the mid seventies and have seen a move from a raw productive rocker to just skating into oblivion on a pair of roller skates!! I had to go back and listen to this offering a couple more times after 'The Rolling Stone' mag named it their number one release of the year- Unfortunately it did not change my opinion- This cd will probably sit in my collection and collect a lot of dust before it is played again- If I were to do it over again, I would definitely skip this one!!!
As a big fan of the boss, I knew that i just had to buy this album and I'm so glad i did. So far. i found completely nothing wrong with the album Another Great album from the boss!! Can't wait for the next one!!!
The cd was in good condition, no damage to the sleeve, but it was missing the booklet that came with it.

Only liked a few cuts at first, but the disc grows on you. The little soulful hip-hop number... let's try to avoid that in the future, Bruce. Who talked you into that?
