My business utilizes a lot of paper and I needed a backup printer to keep my business running, my primary printer is a Brother HL-5470DWT that works flawlessly and purchasing this second Brother HL-5470DW as a backup, at 50% cheaper than the original price was a steal, for me this printer operates without errors and has speed on demand, that’s the main reason for me especially having to print documents that can have 100 or more pages at one time, this printer was chosen over the competitors based on excellent past reviews and has proven itself to be reliable for the past two years. For my level of printing compared to the average user I would say that I go through toners too frequently and the cost over time can be pretty expensive but it is a business expense I write off at the end of the year. As described, works well, the included printer drum unit and fuser still in good shape, just popped a toner unit in and I'm printing, no smearing, no mess, looks good. Minor cosmetic wear and tear on the outside of the printer, but I didn't buy this unit used for cosmetic appearance. Thanks!

I had this model printer for over 10 years and it finally went kaput. I very fortunately found this brand new, unopen box of the same model I had. Compared to todays models the Brother HL-5470DW has them all beat. Today's models are made cheaply and do not possess the same versitility of functions that the HL-5470DW has.

This is a great Brother laser printer. It prints really fast and has excellent print quality. We just upgraded our office printers to this printer. They are a super good buy for the price.
Just Wonderful, much more flexible than current models. Has extensive manual and on line direct to the printer control panel. Mine has WIFI, Ethernet and USB interfaces -I use the WIFI and it seems really fast. It was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition.
