Vintage British Sterling is a long lasting cologne that is the favorite of all the frags I own. My wife says it's her favorite also, so end of story!!! It has the old-timey, barbershop scent while been a more modern type of fragrance at the same time. Not overbearing, but yet has a bit of complexity to it. Semper-fi, Mike

There is a difference between not sealed, as in package, and opened. The bottle itself was cosmetically in poor shape, with the chrome portion of the bottle peeling, brittle to the touch to the point it disintegrates into dust. Some of the cologne must have leaked, for the package smelled as such, and my guess is that the reason the chrome was in such shape is that it got dampened with the cologne. I choose to believe that somehow, some of the cologne spilled, for it isn't full, as compared to believing that the bottle would have been sent in such shape. Having said all that- It still does have the scent that only the Original British Sterling has, and for that I am very jhappy.

This formula smells like it used to smell it is of excellent quality kind of pricey but it lasts longer than the stuff they're making today I'm satisfied with what I purchased

Definitely a different fragrance; not bad, just not as good as the original. I've heard that Dana is having some made in China; don't know if this is or not. I will just say that it is not the same.

I just love the British Sterling cologne as long as it's the vintage formula. I always get good comments when I wear it.
