Bright, but not REAL bright. It's Ok for shining fields out to maybe 150 yards but beyond that not very effective. The Hi/Low switch isn't really an asset On 'Low' it's a tighter beam but dimmer. On 'High' it's brighter but the beam 'floods' and isn't as bright. So, yeah it works, but nothing to get excited about. I'm not concerned with battery life because these light draw a lot of voltage and you can't expect them to last too long even on a full charge. None of them do. It balances in the hand fine, isn't overly heavy (90% of the weight is the battery), and is easy to operate.

Had an older version of QBeam Max. Lasted 8- 9yrs. Finally needed a new battery. Checked prices and found for about $10 more than a battery, I could upgrade to the new QBeam!

Great works just like I needed it to work. I wanted and extra battery but they cost almost as much as the whole light.

item is new and works great very bright but is a little heavier then I expected but well worth the price. Having fun spot lighting deer especially reaching all the way to the back of the field.
