SPOILER ALERT! The main problem with this film is that it tries to appeal to all ages, without success. The initial premise is clever: WEST SIDE STORY set at a cheerleading camp. The Sharks and the Jets are bitter rivals, and only one team can win the big cheer competition. When a girl from one team falls for a guy from the other, their romance is forbidden. A scene on the hotel balcony, as well as a nightime fight where many members of both squads are injured, are taken directly from WEST SIDE STORY. Unfortunately, the adults who will appreciate the references will probably not watch a high school cheerleading movie. The onscreen action is G-rated (no sex; the fighting is stylized and bloodless), so they throw in way too many unnecessary cuss words, probably in hopes of attracting teens, rather than kids ages 8-12 who would otherwise be the most appropriate audience. The two main characters were one-dimensional and the secondary characters were too numerous and forgettable. When the rival squads merged, it sent the right message. But couldn't they have come up with a better name for the new squad than The Shets? Read full review

Ever since the first Bring It On, its sequels have been going downhill. The acting gets worse, the plot gets dumber, the scenes are so cliché... what more do you need to create the world's worst movie? Thankfully, this show isn't as idiotic as Bratz, but it still is a hell lot awful on its own. The fights, the dirty talk, the obscene dance moves - by the end of the movie, I was gasping for air and begging God for mercy on me. This movie was as cruel as Hitler. The jokes aren't funny, the characters are stereotypical, and the girls are made to look cheap. Furthermore, what was with the cheer scenes? The cheer-off they had on the beach earlier in the movie was so hilarious, I burst my lungs from laughing. What was even more painful was the cheer fight they had at night. The cheerleaders were creeping down the alley streets like night phantoms, thrusting their hands in the air like they were performing on Broadway. Now that one, I didn't laugh. I ended up crying so hard that my body lost all its fluid and I crippled up into a dry prune. The brutality of this show towards my eyes and my brain is a matter to be taken seriously. For your own safety, I advise you to never, ever, EVER watch this movie. Unless of course you enjoy watching stupid people do stupid cheers at a stupid camp in a stupid movie - then go ahead, it's gonna be a great show!Read full review
This movie, quite frankly sucked. I liked all of the other three Bring It Ons, and was looking forward to this one. I was a cheerleader in college and these are my kind of movies...however I was very disappointed in the fourth one. The main characters (the one for the red team) wasn't a good actress and the other one (head cheerleader on the blue team) was annoying and her hair was distracting. The plot was broken up, the spirit stick gets stolen, then forgotten, then comes in again, the ending seemed phony.........the routines performed were unrealistic......as with the big fight both teams got into which injured some....comon now. I can go on and on, but I will not waste my time or yours. It is NOT worth the money!
