This hand massager compresses and releases. It doesn't hold the compression or the release long enough to make it feel like you are really getting a massage. The heat does not work unless you use the adapter. It makes so much noise that my dog runs out of the room. But hey, it's a machine, not a masseuse.

As someone who uses their hands for a living, I am always looking for a way to relieve the pressure in them. This device works the muscles of the hand in an intense way. It stretches the palm and also works the fingers. I should warn that it can get intense and there seems to be little variance in intensity. Also the heat function does not provide much heat but that is not a detraction for me

Pros are easy. Works on batteries and plug in. That is very convenient. Cons: I have medium sized hands so trying to slide them into the device is a bit hard. Not for men with large hands. The heat is not very hot. It squeezes hands too much on ALL settings and you have to ride the pressure release button. I used it for about 10 minutes on each hand and the sides of my hands seem to have some discoloration. I assume some capillaries were squeezed too hard. But, my hands are none the worse nor not much better after the first uses.
