This is the perfect way to get that server power supply of yours working for you! It saves a lot of headache trying to solder wires to the connector tabs by having the screw terminals for attaching the wires. The power switch and LED voltage readout are the icing that makes it even better!

Much better than a pcie breakout board. Only hot points exposed besides the terminals is the power psu interface, the bottom is covered and the board is thicker than most cheaper ones. I def recommend using at least 2 hots and 3 grounds though, I use 3 and 3, mining with a 2 wire connection is begging for power issues and burnt wiring at best. So really it should only support 4 full pcie connections and be used on relatively low power. For that purpose though it's terrific. If you want to connect to an asic though please get yourself a power supply with soldered connections as breakout boards just really don't cut it and end up being a common point of failure.

all good, but I see a potential risk with it. On the bottom side they use just paper for insulation and if the board gets hot from high current the paper could get fire. Why dont they use siloplast or some plastic other than paper.

Worked on the three HP common slot power supplies 450w, 750w and 1200w. I will purchase several more in the future.

I had initially thought I might be overpaying here, but after receiving the product (promptly I might add), I was very pleased with quality.
