I found out abot Liz Murray by watching years ago HOMELESS TO HARVARD with Tora Birch. The book is way more explicit than the movie, is like kinda another different thing a different story, brilliantly written. Im still like 100 pages to finish it, but woooo theres a lot more to know... Even though the book is good, sometimes while you are reading it, there are a lot of missing holes, which make it interested, maybe was on purpose, oor maybe they are meaningless. I FOR SURE RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!
I knew that life for children living with drug abusing parents had to be tough, but I had NO idea. How these children survived is a miracle, much less climbing out of the morass to seek an education and eventually a successful career. Liz Murray describes in startling clarity, her own personal life from a very young age into adulthood. READ this! I had to put it down a couple of times due to disturbing scenes but always felt compelled to continue. And I am so happy I did!
Such a wonderful thing that happened to this beautiful girl. She overcame such terrible things in her life to go to college and make something of herself. Few people could have managed this.

Most books seem to have a "dead spot" somewhere in the middle. This book is fascinating on every page.
