The Breadman Ultimate is a great machine, easy to delay start, and once you figure out your ingredients, makes consistently great bread. The loaf is a normal shape loaf, and fits in slicer forms well. Has settings for custom breads, jams, (which I have never used), pizza dough, and has a setting that allows you to remove dough after first rise to bake in your own oven. It is very easy to program delayed start times, so that you can put in bread in the morning and have a fresh baked loaf when you get home at night. Drawbacks.... the loaf mixing paddle comes off in your bread loaf, and must be removed by hand, (difficult when hot!), the latching mechanism that keeps the bread pan down during kneading and mixing, has a tendency to loosen up over time, and eventually just stops holding the pan in place, granted... this is after 3-5 loafs of bread a week, for more than 2 years... Lastly the seal at the bottom of the pan wears out, and begins to leak after being used regularly for a while. These cost $38 dollars to replace, and that is if you do it yourself. Granted, if they leak a bit, it does not effect the bread much unless you are having a long delay start time, it just means more cleaning to keep the inside of the machine clean. I have worn out 3 of these, one leaked, then got wonky with the electronics, (power outages really mess up these machines), one leaked, then quit holding the pan down, and became unusable, and the last one leaked, (a lot), then started having problems with holding pan when kneading dough. You can find them on eBay for about $75, so instead of fixing it, I just bought another. Granted... be careful buying these on eBay!! Many people sell them on eBay after they start having issues! Be careful as the issues don't become readily evident until after you have used them a bit... and then it's too late to return!! Overall a great bread machine for the daily use market, just don't expect them to last forever! Read full review

Most European countries make great bread. American bread usually sticks to the woof of your mouf. The bakery bread isn't much better. Breadman bread is more like a European bread. It's great toasted, too. I had trouble getting the dough to rise when I used "F's" bread machine active dry yeast. I switched to "F's" active dry yeast and got excellent results.

This repair kit is complete and easy to install. However, it will not stay in--keeps popping out. The pan did not show any wear and I thought this would fix it, but something is not right. I will use the pan by pushing the seal down into position before each use until I can find a new Bread machine to purchase--to replace the entire appliance.

This is a great bread machine. It is my second one. One thing that I would recommend is that if you sell anything else like this, let the people know that there are no instructions or recipes with it so they know what to expect. If I didn't have one before, I wouldn't have known how to use it.

I would have never known that it was a used part. It seemed new. Very well taken care of and works wonderful. Have used it quite a few times. I really liked that I did not have to get rid of my machine as I have had it for about 20 years. It was a gift from one of my daughters. Thanks a lot!!
