I'm very happy with my drill I already own several Bosch products and consider them top of the line for power tools especially cordless tools. This drill is small but mighty the batteries last longer and recharge quickly it's smaller size allows use in tight areas and my wife will use this cordless drill where she wouldn't use the larger ones. This model is for lighter duty jobs and delivers outstanding performance for it's size. I'm already shopping for larger Bosch cordless drill to replace the older battery technology with the lithium ion so all of our older cordless drills can be upgraded to this awesome line of power tools of the future.
This is a fantastic hand tool. I've used one for two years every day almost all day long. Battery life is great (virtually a whole day with hard use). I use it as a screwdriver repairing equipment, with occasional use as a drill. It does it all. The newer model has a higher tork, which can be a disadvantage when working with delicate equipment. You have to be a little careful with the power setting so you don't strip the screws. The one I've been working with was purchased by the employer. I just figured it was time to get one for my personal use. The fact that it works on 10.8 Volts and 12 volts is a plus. In short, this is one of the best small hand tools for fine work that I've ever used.
This really is a "pocket drill". You can easily slip it in your pocket while climbing a ladder or doing something else with two hands. When you need to use it there is no lack of power. It has amazing torque for the size and can do almost any smaller screw-driver/drilling task. Most of the time you don't need those big clunky drills with the 100 dollar batteries. This thing will do the job and come back for more. Charges fast, very rugged, nice clutch and the little light makes it a keeper. Like it a lot.
Likes : 1. It's small - easily store in your tool box or bag. 2. Plenty of power & tork for the work or home environment. 3. Led light is very useful when extra light is needed of flashlight. 4. Great for travel installations, two batteries single charge last 3-4 days. 5. It's BOSCH, not a common job site drill - soon will be. 6. Small size is great for under counter installations. Dis-likes: 1. It's small - and walks away on job sites. 2. Extreme cold weather lessons battery time.
This is a lot of tool in a small package. It fits the hand beautifully and is so well balanced that it is not tiring to use for longer periods. The small light is a good touch. It has plenty of power and the torque adjustments work well. I see it more as a screw driver than a drill because of the lower RPM but it does the job drilling. All in all, one of my favorite tools already.
