The sound captured by this microphone is outstanding. I've used it through several different pre-amps (tube and solid state) and have been delighted by it's sound. Only complaint is the knob for multi-pattern settings is very difficult to use as it is recessed and hard to get a grasp of and especially difficult when mounted in the shock mount. BTW - The shock mount is not my favorite as it needs to be pretty tight to support the weigh of this mic and I find (depending on the angle) that it often times won't tighten enough for that purpose. Overall though, this mic really is a great vocal mic. One word of advice with it though, be sure you find the sweet spot when placing the mic, once you do the sound is amazing.

At the begining I thought the microphone had aloud noise, but I was wrong, the noise from my sound card, when i connect the headphone from peramp, it becomes clean .its an extreme good microphone, my audio interface is too weak to match this mic, maybe I need to buy a new sound card

Purchased this as a demo item, came like new, could not tell it had ever even been opened. It would be hard to convince me otherwise, but got it for half-price, delivery was quick and inexpensive!

One of the best microphones for close proximity vocals. If you want a crisp clear upfront microphone, this is it.
