Blink is a movie about a woman named Emma(Stowe) who was blinded as a child. Stowe is a self-sufficient, independent woman who fronts a band, The Drovers excellent music). Emma receives a corneal transplant and her vision is blurred, but restored slowly. Problem: it is also delayed, meaning what she sees sometimes doesn't register with her brain until later. Shortly after Emma's surgery, the woman upstairs is murdered and Emma realizes she actually saw/spoke to the killer. Emma goes to the police, who are skeptical about her ability to ID the killer; meanwhile it turns into a serial killer case. The rest of the movie is about the murder investigation and Emma's struggle to deal with her returning sight. This movie came about before the current high-tech thrillers, but is smartly done. The acting is not the greatest at times, but the storyline plays out well. I owned this on VHS and liked it enough to search it out on DVD. If you enjoy Madeline Stowe movies, this is a must have. I love the music of the Drovers, wish they would have put more of this type of song on the soundtrack.Read full review

We like the story, acting, characters, and the situations that the blind may find themselves in. It is an older movie and not readily available, but well worth watching for a very good drama, tension, and thrills.
