Nice little square. Factory second with cosmetic defect at reduced price. Functionally good. needed a drop of oil and cleaning up screw mechanism edges to slide smooth. Shipping time reasonable. Packaging could use a little work, loose items banging around in a small box.. almost lost the spring when opening.

The ruler I purchased arrived damaged due to poor packaging prior to shipment. I notified Taylor Toolsworks, and was soon contacted by a rep who expressed apology, and concern. They promised to address the issue with the wearhouse team as to avoid such issues in the future. They also sent a replacement, immediately, at no additional cost. The replacement arrived carefully packaged, and in perfect condition. That's a level of responsibility that truly has to be appreciated.
