I'm not a cell phone junkie or expert but I tried this phone after breaking a different one. I like the size of the phone compared to the other BlackBerries. However, this size makes it very hard to text. Let me add that I got this phone after having an LG Banter with a full QWERTY keyboard. I am new to automated word generation on a phone (I have never been a T9er). I got it for cheap which adds to the value for me. I never had a phone with so many features. There are little annoying things that really keep this phone from being good. It is hard to use the menus sometimes and it should be a lot easier to lock the phone. Service wise, I get good reception for calls and Internet. I do love that I basically get the Internet as I would see it on my computer. Be careful, the phone battery really doesn't last long when you are actually using the phone, which makes the applications and features less attractive since you can't use them for long. But, in it's defense, the LG Banter was the same way.Read full review
The phone works great. It is very easy to navigate through. Has some un-needed applications, atleast for me. But the phone is great for anyone who needs a web browser.
I bought the NewPhone three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phoneThe NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours.. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
its a great phone, works awesome! i love having facebook and internet on it. no dislikes, my old phone broke so i decided to upgrade.
I have a 3.0 rating because the trackball stopped entering on my Pearl after 1 year of normal use with a gel case and inivisishield on the phone. It had heavy use, but none I'd see that would effect the ball on it. Well I basically gave up on them after the Storm I had, had a software issue where it would stand straight up, but the screen wouldn't work in that mode, if you were on homescreen. I guess it was hardware. I did love the 7250 and the Curve. Just wished this and the Storm worked out for me!
