All the questions about easy to use, easy to clean, brew quickly, can be a Yes or No, depending on that individual's wants or previous experience with a product much higher in price they didn't pay for. All things considered, it's really no different than a plain turn the switch on coffee maker, EXCEPT- it's digital and for people like me who work at 7pm till 6am the next morning, 4 days in a row, being able to set the timer to brew so it's ready when I 'Get Up" for work at 430pm. I could not or would not want to own a coffee maker without the digital time preset. So a regular B & D at walmart without a digital start or time is about 12 bucks. This coffee maker level with the digital and being a "well known" brand, for whatever I paid, it was a fair deal, even a "good deal" for not having to go out and buy it. Does it brew as quick as a 100$ water displacement bunn type coffee maker, NO. Does it brew reasonably fast as most other drips do at it's price point, Absolutely YES. And same for the other questions. My Answers were YES to all because I consider , comparing to WHAT??? in that price point, a definate YES, I am happy with it, it's easy to clean, use and does brew quickly and automatically at a preset time. If it lasts a good year, I'll be more than happy. It does not come with a screen or filter, you can buy one that will fit that is more permanent, or the paper jobbies with the FLAT bottom for 8-12 cup coffee makers for 1 buck for 500 of them. If you just want a good dependable coffee maker, or need that digital option, it's a nice clock too. You can't seriously hope to beat this deal delivered to your home. Honestly. So, yes, I would definately buy another if I need one at some point in the future. And min 4 stars, but it isn't the best of the best, but at that price I'm satisfied, so 4 STRONG Read full review

When my old B&D Model CM1650M carafe got a crack near the bottom, and I was not able to find a replacement carafe, I wanted to get another B&D. I guess this CM1050B is the "new technology" of coffee pots, or at least a 'new & improved' model similar to (but better than) my old one. This one is GREAT! It's smaller and a bit more user friendly than my old one was; it's a lot easier to see the water level in the reservoir, the controls are easy peezy to use, figure out and understand what does what. It was a definite "value for the dollar" purchase. My ONLY complaint would be the different coffee filters used for these machines - 1650 used cone type, 1050 uses basket type; a very small detail. Maybe because my old one was old, but this one seems to brew faster... I absolutely LOVE my B&D CM1050B coffee pot and would highly recommend it to ANYBODY who wants a good product for under $35.00!Read full review
I needed this after old one failed. The timer is easy to use and very clear. The pause and serve feature is fine. The color scheme goes with my decor. Easy to fill and empty.
Easy to use coffee maker. Has sneak a cup feature. No spills.

I got this since my old one kept folding filter and I would get grounds in coffee. With this water spout in middle I am not having that problem.
