I have a Park Pro stand in my basement so I'm a little spoiled.... got this as a supplement, to keep in the garage, as the basement is crowded with the usual end of season overhauls and repairs lined up. The good- very steady, won't tip over if properly loaded. Nicely adjustable, for height as well as tilting the bike up or down to concentrate on a specific task. The extra, skinny arm thingie with the rubber bands actually works, will keep your handlebars from turning, or keep them turned enough to easily reach the brake lever while you adjust rear brakes (I'm short). Will easily support a fat bike. Tool tray is a nice bonus. Didn't bother to install the plastic foot pads, not necessary. The bad- you have to clamp the bike by the top tube or seat post, as the main clamp is too chunky to fit between seat tube and tire. The clamping mech's are plastic so be cautious when tightening them down, & it's hard to get the tilt adjustment from slowly allowing the bike to move, ya gotta crank on the clamp. Clamps are not the spiffy, and vastly more expensive quick release style as a Park, but aren't THAT much extra work. Depending on your cable routing, the clamp may pinch your cables if clamped by the top tube, but it has enough space for old school brazed on cable guides to fit without being smashed. It's not robust enough to withstand decades of abuse, but if used with care- especially when tightening the clamps- should give years of satisfactory use to the average home mechanic. A GREAT deal.Read full review

Coming in at 13lbs this is very stable and a good value. I actually use it as a secure gun rest and no telling whatever else I can use it for.

Appears to be a well made bike stand for use at home. The basic stand is made out of steel.
