rounds incert w/ minimal effort. there is sufficient room in slot to permit rims to rotate. this does not affect their retention, but seems to allow striping into cylinder easier. made in USA. unfortunately, 44's seem to becomming scarce. very conelable in pocket. not prone to lint. other brand is much tighter, more difficult to incert the rounds and this causes the strip to bow. but i do like there comming in a more visable orange.

I have used speed boarders for my Smith & Wesson revolvers before, but faced a dilemma when it comes to a Colt Single Action. The strip style fill the need for a quicker way to reload a SAA revolver without fumbling around with loose rounds. I like having these handy, and refilling them is quick and easy.

As adverstised! I needed to be able to carry extral rounds for my 2 shot bond arms derringer in .45LC/.410, these speed strips work super for that purpose. I can shoot 2 rounds and reload both barrels in less than 1.5 seconds and be right back on target.

I have used these reloading strips for 20 + years now and I can tell you they just work. These strips are the best way to carry extra ammo for your revolver. Unlike HKS speedloaders, these lay flat in your pocket and don't give away what they are to anyone.

I realize it is suppose to be a speed loader, but I use this for extra ammo for my 45auto, for my Marlin 45-70 gov, and my 44 mag revolver. It is handier for hunting not searching in your pocket for loose shells. It works perfect for any 44 or 45 calibers.
