Again as with all Martha Stewart Books and Magazines, the photography is outstanding. Her attention to small details is well represented in the volume. Her love for pure white walls and pale, soft green is also shown in the best light. The rooms of simple and simply done. There are many examples of her several collections in well placed displays. For those of us who like simple, clean lines, and a very few soft pale colors, this will be an inspiration. For me, I have found that I do best when there are many inspiring photographs and unified ideas. If every room is a new, dynamic direction of ideas, I get lost in the myriad of details and directions, like which ride to take next at Disneyland. I don't want my home to be exciting like a day at an amusement park, but rather, I want it to be a contiguous, peaceful flow from room to room. I believe Martha has managed to do that very well in this book.Read full review
I had a copy of this years ago. Then I thought Martha was way too proper for my thinking. Now I can really appreciate her creative staffs' wonderful ideas. It takes a village.
