With the voices of Jerry Seinfeld, Renne Zellweger, Patrick Warburton, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Chris Rock, Kathy Bates, Larry King, Ray Liotta & Oprah Winfrey. This movie is about Barry B. Benson who after graduating has a hard time deciding what to do for the rest of his life. When a chance comes up with the pollen jockeys to pollinate the flowers he gets seperated from the group and finds out that there is a whole world out there besides the hive. When he gets lost from the group he ends up the the window sill of florist Vanessa, who immediately makes him feel that he has a purpose to be alive. The two of them strike up a friendship, and even though it is against the bee rules, he starts to talk to Vanessa to thank him for saving his life. When Barry discovers where all the honey the bees are making goes, he then sues the entire human race to try to keep the honey for themselves for all their hard work. When they win the case all the bees stop working for the first time! When Barry goes to visit Vanessa he sees that all the flowers around them are dying, and realizes that without the bees working there may not be any more flowers ever again, can the bees save the last of the flowers that are left before its too late? You will have to watch it to find out! This story has a very good lesson that even the smallest creature has a purpose, and without them it could effect everyone. This movie has great animation and very beautiful flower colors. You will want to watch this movie over and over, even if you are not a kid! :)Will keep you STINGING for more!! It's kind of like 'Bug's Life' but stars bees and is a satire more than anything else. It's cleverly written and if you can overlook the fact that worker bees should be female then the movie is perfect. Patrick Warburton steals the show on many accounts here and I *loved* his role in the film. Each actor and actress lent their voice talents to a hysterically funny movie with lots of morals and values involved in it. I wouldn't recommend this film to children under 7 since the humor may be a little above their heads but it is a real pardon the pun honey of a film and remains one of my favorite animated features to this day. It may not be so good as 'Bug's Life', but the animation Dreamworks utilizes is crisp and stunning. I especially love the scenes in Honex. Jerry Seinfield's comedy is magnificent here, as sparkling as ever. If you're a Seinfield fan you'll love it, and even if you simply just love Seinfield's comedy, you'll adore it !Read full review
Me and daughter had this movie years ago. Loved it. Played it till we wore it out. Came across it on eBay for a great price and we are still loving it. We watch it at least once a day.

I remember watching this movie a year ago. I loved the message that it delivers. I wanted to watch something inspirational towards the end of the year (2008). I was kind of dissapointed though with all the sexual references that it has; some not appropriate for children (way over their head). The scene with Sting levetating while he is meditating could have been left out as well. I don't want my child to watch this movie again. Why do they make "children's movies" with material that is not really suitable for them? Anyway...hope you like it. Mine is going in the trash.
