I read reviews bashing it for being generic, but others said it smelled very good, so I blind-bought it since it's so affordable. Signature reminds me of Eternity the first 30 seconds while the alcohol is evaporating, but then it gets sweeter and fresh, melony floral. It smells almost like female perfume but not THAT feminine. It's just a delicate smell. It's not a strong or manly cologne by any means, not because it's weak, but because it does not smell overly chemical or synthetic. Lasts moderate and projects decently, but sillage is not strong. This is a safe, sexy fragrance. It's not one of those insta-skin scents. It lasts decently. Beckham Signature is to me like a really soft smell-alike of D&G L'Imperatrice 3 (which I LOVE even if it gets annoying very quick). It's in that sweet, melony neighborhood, but without the cloyiness or duration. Stronger but less sweet and less loud than B&BW body sprays. So yeah, Signature is a sweet fragrance. It's not cloyingly sweet but it is very sweet, enough to bother people that dislike these type of fragrances. If you prefer bitter or sour fragrances, careful with this one because nothing counteracts the sweetness. It's a bright, thin, linear fragrance, not at all dark, thick, or complex. Females could pull this fragrance easily. I consider it a unisex fragrance. So, overall, not a terribly unique fragrance in the beginning but then gets unique enough for me to keep it because nothing I have smells like it. PLUS, the bottle looks very elegant and feels good in the hand, and the color of the juice is pleasant. I would buy it again when I run out of it.Read full review
