Basilica
Great, quick read on the building of St Peter's basilica in Rome. Starts off with Michaelangelo fleeing Rome & Pope Julius and never lets up! Sorry to discover that author R. A. Scotti died a few years ago (rather young).

"Basilica" is full of problems
Not a very good book. Very superficial, and full of little nagging errors that make one doubt the author's knowledge of the subject.
