This is a good basic pitching machine for slow pitch. Construction appears to be holding up pretty well. I did not rate the quality high because the 4 d batteries did not have enough power to adequately power the machine, throws wiffle balls erratically, and height adjustment is inadequate to get a full acr pitch out of the machine. It did work well on the ac adapter or a 12 volt jumper box. A few cautions with this machine: 1. If you unscrew the tension knob too far it disengages with the spring shaft and it is extremely difficult to reattach for a person with normal size hands.. 2. If using a battery jumper box BE SURE TO CONNECT BATTERY WITH CORRECT POLARITY. If it is reversed the machine jams up may require dis-assembly depending on where the machine jammed. 3. Best & most consistent balls to use with the machine are yellow foam baseballs from Sports Authority. They fly pretty consistent and you can get a decent arc. Read full review

It's a handy equipment and easy to use. My boys love it. Some of country it's hard to find D battery. It's better if you sell include the battery on it. It's more help if the throw time can be set slower or faster.

I know you have to put it together, but the bolt that hooks up to the tension spring is not attached so I figure it out after figuring it out the bolt is stripped! So you get what you pay for!

Build quality is by no means robust. Plastic parts are flimsy. With about 80% repeatability, I’m satisfied. I don’t have anyone else to flip me BP; beggars cannot be choosers.
