I feel like Baron Baptiste is a great yoga instructor, although this DVD is short. I would say it isn't particularly great if you are looking for a deep yoga practice (in one DVD), as it is only about 25 minutes. It is over before you know it but the content that is there is great. His flows are easy to follow and I feel that it is a beneficial workout but I think it is best as an addition to another DVD or workout. For instance, if you want to do some pilates and yoga or some cardio and yoga, this would be a good one to combine with something else. For the price I cannot complain. I am glad to have it as part of my collection.
This is the first yoga DVD that I buy and I'm glad to say it was a pleasant surprise. The instructions by Baron Baptiste throughout the video are easy to follow. His style of teaching cannot get boring and I see myself using this DVD endlessly until I become as great as the people on the video. I recommend it to anyone who's interested in learning about the great benefits of yoga.
I used my previous Baron workout video tape so much that I wore it out so when I went looking for a new one, Baron's was the only one I wanted. This video is fantastic. It really works you! You can do the poses at your own pace just like the people in the video (his students). He's encouraging, helpful, and I love using his teachings. I get so excited when I get to use this DVD. BUY THIS!!
Barons Voice is not annoying-I use this dvd for a start to the day and sometimes at the end of the day after a run. It is quick moving and great to help get yourself centered anytime of the day.
i wanted to learn yoga with a dvd that would still be good when i get used to the movements and i fould it in this choice... came on time and i am still feeling the burn and stretch
