As a Med School student I'm often overwhelmed with all the names of procedures and diseases because there's just so much to remember. These cards really helped out though. I study them for 10 minutes everyday while I wait for class to begin and I've seen what they can do for my grade. These contain the prefixes and suffixes that are commonly used in medicine as well as the ones that are a little more uncommon. They don't however contain the names of procedures or diseasss but by studying the flash cards you can learn to break down unfamiliar medical terms. Im not endorsed by anyone to say this. This seller just sells quality products at a affordable price so they should be recognized. The cards are just a little thinner than a regular index card but pretty similar. The cards haven't ripped even from being in my backpack and the cards case is pretty strong. Its made out of a thick cardboard to keep the cards protected. 10/10 would buy again from this seller.Read full review

This product is a bit of a dud. The cards list Greek- and Latin-based parts of medical terminology on one side and the English equivalent on the other (e.g. "angi/o" backed with "vessel"). However, few if any of the cards list actual medical terms. The product would have been much more useful if each card included a common actual term (for example "angiogram") accompanied by a definition or use of it in a sentence. This product presents portions of words in a way that doesn't very much help in the learning of full words.
I've not had a lot of time yet to fully examine these. But the product itself is made well. Not cheap. I suppose similar to Trivial Pursuit thickness. I believe a really good item, I just need to use them.
These are very helpful cards even for non medical persons.

I would have liked them a little larger so the class could see the cards easier, but they are Great cards. I use them in my Medical Terminology class with the students. I think I see an improvement already. Highly recommended.
