right out of the box I was impressed with the quality of this unit. I also use a Iwata Eclipse That I've had for a good while. But I must admit that when I start to shoot some flames on a tank I'm reaching for my Patriot 1st. Could be the "new airbrush shine" hasn't worn off yet or I just instinctively Like this brush more. I haven't figured that out lol. Bottom Line: It's a great deal for the money. It's gonna last you with that Badger made in the U.S.A. quality a long time and it works AS ADVERTISED! How often do you hear that nowdays

Airbrush looks good, still waiting on other things so I can’t use it yet to be 100% yet. However, the foam wrapped around the box was taped directly on the paper label on the case so my otherwise new and nice looking airbrush box has a huge rip in the label dead center now. Just a little forethought. Maybe don’t put packing tape directly onto the paper label of a brand new product.

I have really taken a liking to this airbrush. It is a great airbrush over all. I use it for 1/35 scale model armor. It is able to do the small details that are needed, and is able to paint the entire model. I think of it as a utility airbrush in this way. is a great addition to my modeling table. For the price you really can not beat it. The double action is great. It is super easy to clean, just unscrew and remove the needle.

The Badger Model 105 Patriot, is an excellent choice for any application you have in mind. It is simple enough to care for and use that a beginner will not feel out of their depth. It also has enough advanced features to please the most seasoned veterans of airbrush usage and management. The single needle/nozzle combination allows it to spray anything from thin inks up to heavier acrylic paints without changing anything at all. It handles like an expensive artist's airbrush at a price most hobbyist can easily afford. It shares many familiar features of Badgers siphon feed 155 Anthem but the gravity feed set up will give it a a niche of it's own in your airbrush arsenal.

I use an airbursh for ppainting models and miniatures. My previous airbrush was a "no name" model made in parts unknown. I finally moved up and got a Badger Patriot. It's soooo much better. Has nice control over paint flow and is really easy to clean. And when you dissamble it for a deep clean it all goes back together easily without needing to muck around adjusting things... Great airbrush! :)
