I came across reviews for Burial's CD in a couple of places and bought it. It's the first CD I've purchased in years that I've listened to for days on end. It's dubstep at its finest with so many interesting and indescribable nuances. At times it sounds like music coming through an apartment wall. At others it might be music you'd hear from the outside world from inside the womb. Highly recommend this, only if this is your cup of tea. Some may think it a bit "weird."
EXCELLENT SOPHOMORE EFFORT FROM THIS SHADOWY FIGURE. AS THE DUBSTEP PHENOMENON SPREADS WORLDWIDE WE MAY SEE THIS ONE BECOME A CLASSIC. FANTASTIC STABBING BEATS CRADLE DISLODGED HAZY VOCAL DECORATIONS AMONGST MINIMAL DETROIT SYNTH SPLASHES. ALL THIS FLOATS ABOVE THE WELL-PRODUCED FOUNDATION OF DUBBED BASS-LINES. NASTY!
this is a great dubstep album with haunting vocals and great beats. I have liked this particular artist for some time now and this album is much better than the last. I look forward to Burial's next release.
its chill, dark, ambient, mellow, i'm not sure what they call it but i know dubstep and this is not dubstep so be warned. it WAS kinda cool BUT i fell asleep
