This thing is simple and robust. The only hang-up is that it's made to stay on in an office type setting, so if used at home, it takes several minutes to warm if if not left on. The quality, when compared to the consumer optinos, far outweighed this small gripe.

It's well made. Nothing flimsy about this coffee maker. It isn't a space hog and looks attractive enough to leave out but is also small enough to tuck out of the way if you need every inch of counter space. I drink decaf and my husband drinks caffeinated or half and half blend and it is easy and fast enough that we can both sit down to coffee at the same time. The coffee is piping hot and delicious. My husband thought we had upgraded coffee brands but we had just changed coffee makers. We tested it out recently during our 2 week family reunion, going back and forth between all all the drawers to accommodate all our guests' different beverage requirements. It did very well all things considered but I will probably get another ground coffee drawer just to make things a little easier for a large crowd.
