I haven't taken this out on trail yet but I did test it. It works fine ! It also looks like the build quality is there and I know quality when I see it. It is a bit shorter and smaller than the very popular brand. Cons... It may be a bit small for holding some pots. This all depends on how careful you are when cooking. Pros ... It is cheap enough and light enough to carry a back up, Which may come in handy for helping some else out on trail if not for yourself.

Great quality and works good But the base gets hot after few minutes of continuous use. Cannot use continuously for longer times. Recommended for one person use only who just needs to boil water for coffee/tea and dehydrating freeze dried food. Cannot use for serious cooking that needs stove burning more than 5-10 minutes. Flame is well controlled. ultralight and great quality for the price.

I've used this little stove on a few backpacking trips and it has worked great. Super light weight and very inexpensive.

I love the size and price of this stove, and if it continues working like it has, it will replace my main stove. I have only used it once but it worked with no problems, It might be a little more affected by wind than the original Pocket Rocket (my main stove) but it is a fraction of the weight and size and it boils water just like the larger stove. I will need to use it more to know about its durability.

Tested this stove above 5,000 feet on many mountains in the Cascades and a few Rockies. After a lot of research it performs similar to the Pocket Rocket but is much smaller and about a third of the weight. This is my official go to stove outside of serious winter expeditions.
