This worked for the application I needed it to. We moved into a 1961 era home, and the bathroom had a LIGHT, utilizing a 100 watt bulb, but no exhaust fan. The bathroom had a tub only, but the wife was hell bent on a shower. The shower was added, the walls tiled, but the old light fixture was a second light with no exhaust fan. I removed the old light which showed signs of heat damage from the old school 100w incandescent bulbs, removed the enclosure for it, and installed this broan unit, a new broan fan, and added an LED light set up, Now there is sufficient exhaust to pull out the steam, (and post defecation fog, and light as well.
