The first unit I purchased I have in a rental unit. The grille had to be pulled completely out on the adjustment screws in order to stop the plastic fan from rubbing on it. This resulted in an unsightly gap between the grille and the wall. The second unit I purchased for a different space set up a vibration noise that was intolerable. I returned it for a cash refund and purchased a different make which has an aluminum fan. The Broan units are manufactured in China and there appears to be poor quality control in the manufacture of these heaters.

The Broan-NuTone 192 heater that I purchased has an annoying design flaw. When the grille is mounted on the unit flush with the wall, the heater fan hits the grille. In order to stop this, the grille must be pulled full out in the housing screw slots. This results in an unsightly gap between the grille and the wall. I filled this perimeter gap with a white spackle. A proper fix would involve Broan moving the fan back in its housing by at least 3/16ths of an inch, thus allowing the fan to spin without hitting the grille, and allowing the grille to fit snugly against the wall. Otherwise, the unit works as advertised.
