Hello! I'm a Blackberry addict...I think they call that a "crackberry"....but as a full time eBayer, it's a necessary part of my business. I had this particular Blackberry for a short time. It was functional and fairly easy to use, but I soon moved over to AT&T and got the Blackberry Pearl. I found that the 7100T is a good solid phone but SO bulky that it's cumbersome. As a woman, I carry a million things in my purse. I think the one redeeming quality of the 7100T was that I could actually find it in my purse because it's so big!! Since I've switched to the Pearl, it often gets lost in my purse (I rarely use a case)because it's so small. But the Pearl functions better, the track ball is easier to use and it's more compact. If you're a big guy and like a rugged phone, the 7100T is fantastic. The Pearl is..ok...dainty....and most men hate it because it's so small. I have the red Pearl and can't live without it. Switching from the 7100T was a good choice. I felt with the 7100T I had to carry that for email/web and a seperate smaller phone for day to day calls. That ended pretty quickly...it's a pain in the neck. So...my review of the 7100T isn't BAD..it's actually a great phone as are all Blackberries. They are sooo functional (I don't care for the other "smartphones" and I tried the IPhone for 3 days and returned it...yuck) and a blackberry, any model, is a integral part of my business. I never miss an email, can respond to buyer questions quickly, check my auctions on the web and find that I can actually be away from my laptop for the day and not lose site of my business. So...men...get the 7100T and you'll love it. It's a manly phone! Ladies...if you want function with a bit of fashionista, you'll like the Pearl much better! Enjoy..........Read full review
Let's start by saying that when I purchased this phone, I was really looking for a few things. Number one, I wanted a phone that could keep track of my schedule, contacts and such. I travel alot and needed a Quad band phone capable of accepting US sim cards and sim cards from the rest of the world. I wanted a phone that functioned well as a phone and I was also looking for something that would do a nice job browsing the web. Now let me say that the Blackberry 7100t is an amazing device. The integration with web browsing and email on the blackberry server is wonderful. Having said that, I use mostly prepaid service and this option is usually unavailable to me. It is also very difficult to set up, so when I travel form place to place, I am constantly having to mess with settings, which I have mostly just given up on. This device has basically become just a phone for me. As for this phone being a PDA, it is NOT. While it's integrated Calendar program is nicer than you would typically see on smaller phones, it's just not enough. There's no easy way to write documents on this phone, no spreadsheet program I am aware of... The phone itself is very nice. The keypad takes some getting used to, but once you are, it makes texting a breeze. I use a Motorola bluetooth headset with this phone. Integration is a snap, and it actually sounds better than the headset itself which isn't bad! Overall, if you are using blackberry software for work, or have the option of adding it as part of your cellular service, I think this phone is very nice. It attracts attention, and people are always amazed at how light it is compared to the size. Oh yah, by the way... another drawback is that while it has bluetooth integration for a headset, you can't use the bluetooth to do anything else with! Good luck, and enjoy!Read full review

I, honestly, only purchased this because it is the "in" phone to have. I will never do that again. Positives: Great large colored screen, beautiful phone, good internet, good phone coverage, lightweight, great to show off, the ball action works perfectly. Negatives: Cost is very high (around $250ish), the keys stick, scratches easy, the back button that keeps the phone from falling apart came off on mine, and people always say they cannot hear me very well when they call (even when I turn the volume completely up), when you hit the "end" key to end a conversation the speaker phone sometimes comes on b/c it's hard to miss the speakerphone key when you hit the "end" key which produces a loud sound.
I purchased the phone on Ebay about a month ago. I think its crappy. It has way to many needless features on it (A shopping list that would take you 100xs longer to use than to actually write it down on paper). Also, you cannot get ring tones on this phone and the ring tones suck. I don't have the internet on my phone, but I would imagine it would be hard to use. The buttons are already small, so typing letters is hard b/c there are 2 letters on each button. It also doesn't show missed calls or calls dialed out. For a person not planning to use the internet on this phone, I would recommend to go with another phone. The main features on this phone are based around the internet. I paid $50.00 for this phone so I guess it was an ok deal- Now, I am bummed b/c I will probably be using it for the next year :(.Read full review
