I read the reviews from other sources, so I ordered a 1" for 1.25" swivels. Fits great. As other people have suggested, it smells and you need to air it out, the ears will need to be bent in a bit and it will need some neats foot oil or similar leather conditioner. That being said, if you want a Turner sling, spend the $80. If you want a low priced, nice looking, descent sling, this will fit your needs

The leather is drum dyed before the holes are punched in it and the leather is dry, like Sahara in a drought, dry. Because the material was so dry it develops cracks where the holes were punched and no amount of beez wax or other oils can bring it back from that. On the plus side, it looks really nice, the hardware is solid, and the bands are sewn, not rivetted. So far it is holding up without stretching much and I can get it to stay pretty tight on my bicep.

The sling came fairly quick within 2 or 3 days. When I opened the package it wasn't crammed in the box or bent up or folded, it was well rolled up and secured and when opened up didn't leave any creases in the leather at all. The leather seems to be of decent quality but would recommend basic leather maintenance for the prolonged life of the sling. Another recommendation size the sling out before folding over the metal claws, bending repeatedly will break them. I've already walked several miles with the sling attached to a 12 lb. rifle and it's comfortable to carry and the clasps lock up tight, plus the tackiness of the leather doesn't allow the rifle to move around alot on your shoulder when walking up hill so it doesn't rub on your upper body. So far I'm very pleased with the sling especially at the price point and it looks very defined on Walnut stocks.Read full review

Pros: Heavy duty leather; carries well; lasts long; quiet; best sling I have used for long range and hunting rifles...and I have used alot of slings. Cons: stiff leather and you have know how to use it.

Holes are so big, the sling is very week. Put together sloppily with rivet sticking out and won't go through rings on rifle. Complete waste of money. Threw into the trash bin where it belongs.
