I ordered this cd from the Beach Boys because they played some of the songs from it in a concert I watched on tv. I really loved the title song and also felt that it would be nice to have it in my collection. I am so happy that they are all back together as a group again and figured it might be the last cd they will make together. It has some really pretty songs on it, in the same Beach Boy style from the old days. I'm so glad I purchased it.
I was hoping to hear some of Dave Marks rock and roll guitar solos on this record. Harmonies were terrific!

Awesome album! Hard to believe these guys have been harmonizing for 50 years. The vocals are tight and, though never deep, Brian Wilson's songs are catchy and, at times, beautiful. I did find the line "isn't it time we went steady again" a bit comical for 70 year old crooners but, let's face it, their sound is timeless. They're forever young.
I am a huge Beach Boys fan and needless to say Brian Wilson. I knew they had a new CD so i purchased it. I must say i am rather disappointed. It has not reached out and grabbed me like the Beach Boys usually do and especially the Smile album and the Gershwin album by Brian Wilson. I will have to sit and listen some more. Perhaps when it is in the hands of Brian Wilson it is great but the rest of the remianing Beach Boys just don't have it.
hearing that great harmony again was so refreshing. This LP is as good as Pet Sounds.
