I've spent ages testing headphones in various shops as I've been shopping or on days travelling around. I had been using some in ear bubs which served the purpose really well as they were easy to carry and lightweight. On one of my 'shopping trips' i ventured into my local Costco and they had two headphones there on demo. The firsrt was the Bose Quiet comfort 35 and the other was the B and O H6. On trial i did think that the B and O were far better value and had a much better sound stage and base. I count justify the increased cost that the Bose were priced at. A few weeks later as it was coming near Christmas i though I'd treat myself to a pair of the B and O H6 and on looking on Ebay i found a real bargain where they were listed at £179 for a pair that had been returned to an official B and O agent. These turned out to be unmarked and as new so I'm super happy to have got excellent headphones at a discount price. Much recommended purchase.Read full review

These headphones are my first at this price range. Was looking for a portable, not clunky, pair of headphones and the B&O H6 are excellent . I really like the sound, but I wont comment on it much since i am no expert. I have heard that the GEN 2's have more base response but to my ears the base on these is just perfect, the mids are pronounced and the highs are just in there enough for it to have clarity of vocals and not be puncturing your eardrums. Sound isolation is passive (closed back) but not for those who like absolute isolation. Leakage is acceptable. For normal levels of music volume, they can easily be used in a work or other environment where you don't want your music to bother the other people around you. Genre-wise, I've heard heavy metal, rock, jazz, house, classical and they are great for all those. Even used for gaming and was astounded to find they were an absolute pleasure to game with. As for portability they're decent, of course not like some other headphones that fold like 2-3 times but enough for me to carry them around. The earcups have about 180 degree on the horizontal and probably 5-6 degrees vertical , so they can be comfortably adjusted for single - ear audition. Earcups very comfortable, 7+ hours without any discomfort at all, but on my model they are a bit too easy to take off. However in a days time i was able to get used to it by handling them with a rotating motion whenever i grab them, in order to make sure that the cups are fully rotated in place. Build quality is very decent, they dont feel like they're going to break any time soon. Overall a nice pair of audiophile grade headphones which are extremely versatile , true in sound , confortable and portable.Read full review

I have had many headphones, and I just say, H6 MkII is the best I have tried. For wireless I use the Bose QC35, which are great. But at higher tones, distortion often occur. From reading many reviews the H6 stood out to be the best on the market. I must say! That's 100% true.

Already have the B&W P5 S2 and the Vmoda M100, but was looking for better soundstage and without excessive bass. The B& W P7 had too much bass for my liking, and the H6 Gen 2 has just the right amount of bass for my taste with really clear treble, without having to crank up the volume which was my criteria.I didn't need the wireless version as I prefer to connect the cable via a Dragonfly amp, which adds extra polish to the clarity. Excellent price at £179 as they had a 30% offer on at the time.
