I bought this book because it's a true story about a girl who loses both parents at a young age. I can relate to that because I lost both my parents when I was still a kid. Erin tells a story about both her parents dying a month apart from each other. Erin was 14 years old and felt like she was a burden to her older sister. Grief through a young girl's eyes is very humbling and really hit home. Erin has to face going through her parent's things. She has to deal with being the only one at school who doesn't have parents out in the audience when she performs her plays. I read this book in 2 days. Erin gets through it all strong. But life as she use to know it, will never be the same.
