Bought this laptop because it was budget-priced and upgradable. It certainly performed well and the build quality was nothing short of incredible. The housing is absolutely solid, the keys are comfortable, and the mousepad is big. Touchscreen worked well, also. My biggest complaint is not about this laptop specifically but about the Macbook-style design in general. The mousepad has no discrete buttons, it's what's called a 'clickpad' where you press down on the touch surface to invoke a click. This proves to be ergonomically challenging and I wish that laptop manufacturers would stop trying to go for looks over functionality.
I bought the asus because I needed a computer that was small and light and had all the functionality of a full size laptop. I love the easy to use touch screen. The asus can replace all my other heavyweight computers. The price of the asus was well below any other touchscreen laptop.
Great small laptop.
