Ash away remover
It is a handy tool to speed up cleanup but if I could change it the bottom surface should be thicker as it has a slight worpage after using it 3 or 4 hrs in the higher heat ranges. I love the pellet stove, its great.

Well made, high quality
Not quite as effective as I had envisioned, but it is a lot easier then hauling out the shop vac to clean out the ash. It worked very well for scraping off the ash in the bottom of the grill that had mixed with the grease that had fallen through the sear grate.

Ash-a-Way Makes Cleaning Easy
I recently bought a wood pellet grill. The advertising said cleaning was a snap. It was pull a lever on the ash clean out system and the it would drop into a cup for easy disposal. What they didn’t tell me was that due to the intense heat in the burn pot, the slide away try would often get stuck. I would often have to vacuum the ash out and pound on the bottom of burn pot to loosen the tray. Then scrub the tray clean so it would open and close properly. With the ash a way, clean up is much simpler. I lift it out after it cools, dispose of the ash, scrub out the burnt particles so the ash a way lasts longer, and put it back in. The small remnants of ash that are left can easily be discarded with the grills ash clean out system now. The ash a way will definitely extend the life if ... I recently bought a wood pellet grill.
