A friend recommended Archer but being a busy person I hesitated. When I finally gave it a go I was hooked, watching each episode every night until I finished the entire three seasons so far available - they are currently working on a fourth. All I can say is AMAZING! I love that the creators have spat in the face of PC thuggery and crossed the line on all issues but at the same time maintained a certain sensitivity and dignity in those areas. Archer is an incredibly clever dark satire on the spy versus spy genre and covers the A - Z of taboo subjects including sexism, racism, homosexuality, cancer... in fact, pretty much everything that makes people squeamish. The quality of the drawing is excellent and the backgrounds are detailed to a degree I have rarely seen in cartoons. The Archer collection, at the very least, is a must-see and a must-own for dark-humoured aficionados everywhere. I will not give a plot synopsis in this review - instead I will leave it to those of you reading to go out and experience Archer yourself. So do it. Now!Read full review
Adam Reed has an impressive resume. With each series he has gotten better at his craft and drawn a bigger following. Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Sealab 2021, Frisky Dingo. Watch some of those in order and then the extraordinary (ultra-raunchy) humor and overall quality of "Archer" won't surprise you much. The animation and production values are better. The setting ("James Bond meets Arrested Development," says Reed) is better. The stories are better (and funnier, oh are they funnier). But none of that matters. What matters is the way the characters are hilariously brought to life through the exceptional dialog and voice acting, much of which is ad-libbed. The timing, so important to...("to what?" "First of all...") to comedy, borders on miraculous. Never mind, forget all that pedantic nonsense. This is simply the funniest damn show I have ever seen, and if you are 18 or older you must buy it now. Go!Read full review
Truly one of the best American animated shows on TV. It is NOT for children, only for adults. This series follows the ISIS spy company, the title character Archer, his mother, and their co-workers. It provides a behind the scenes look at what only could be called work place comedy for a spy group. Considering that spies are people too and have to worry about their 401ks, health insurance, pay, etc., this is a great deal of fun as they try to work out their differences and continue to bring money into their spy firm.
I have enjoyed this series from the first time I watched. Thank you for helping me with my collection.

The first season of Archer is a must for any Archer fan. The show is still finding its footing in these episodes but they're still a lot of fun to watch.
