The Aquabot Turbo-T-Jet pool vacuum is a very simple design unlike other cleaners I have purchased in the past. The others worked better than the aquabot as far as going up walls and cleaning the entire bottom of my 20 x 40 pool. The problem with the others is they only work for one season at best. The Aquabot works purely off of water pressure so when the filter gets dirty it loses power to move, it also does not have a programed path so it just goes back and forth with a turn during reverse or forward. Seems to clean the pool bottom decent so if it lasts a few years I will be happy.

This replacement for the Eco-Jet doesn't have the scrubber brush and doesn't clean the floor of the pool as well. It also is lighter and floats sometime and gets stuck on steps and seats in my pool. The model I had before would travel across the pool and and return to the other side. This one changes direction at random sometimes turning 90 degrees. I run it for an hour and then use a pool pole to get it push it to the spots it missed. It does a great job of removing sand and small items with the thicker bag

My first Turbo T-Jet died going into the 6th year and I immediately got a new one. First of all I run my Aquabot 8-10 hours a day and my pool is crystal clear, I very rarely turn on the pool filter. Considering most people don't run there's like I do ,it would have probably lasted twice as long if I did it the same. My pool is filthy when I open it, have mesh cover, I mean greenish black algae so the Aquabot is running real hard at startup, have to change the filter bag every two hours till I get it clean, also dump 6 bags of shock to start. After start up, I use one bag of shock a week and add tablets to 2 floating chlorinators as need. I really cut down on my chemical use and the water is crystal clear and i rarely run my filter and I don't ever test my water or add any other chemicals or algecide. Does it clean the pool in 2 hour if it is dirty ---none of them do. I am 68 years old and would not be able to maintain my pool without the Aquabot Turbo T-Jet. Also got excellant price, I happened to go on line when there was a 2 hour promotion and paid $346.76, no one else came close. Paid over $500 for first one and it was worth every penny.Read full review

Works so much better than my last Aquabot! Only negative is that it gets stuck in some corners of the pool where there are steps!

Bought this item about a month ago. Wasn't climbing the hill from the deep end to the shallow end and stopped roving all together after 3 uses. The bag was machine washed after every use in cold water and hung dry. There were no clogs. Called the phone number to Aquabot and the customer service guy seemed like I was bothering him. He suggested I contact the seller even though it is printed right on the box Do Not Return to Store. Going to try this route. It's possible I received a defective unit but as of now it's a piece of junk!!! Don't waste your money
