It was as stated - I had problems with the squishy screen so I had to take it in to get stablized. I bought it for my Granddaughter and did not want her frustrated by the screen. The charger was the slow charge type so I bought a fast charge adapter.

The iPad I purchased came in great working condition and it had no dents or scratches, only downside is that the “iPad 3rd Generation” does not update to the most current version of IOS so therefore you’ll be missing out on the updated features, I’d say buy it if you don’t care and if you do it’s not a purchase for you.

I switched from a samsung galaxy 10.1 to the 3rd generation of the ipad. Overall, I'm pleased, but there are a few features that android tablets have going for them that I miss... Ipad Pros: Amazing screen resolution. It far exceeds the Galaxy. The touch features are much more responsive on the Ipad. The Ipad also has more useful touch commands. The ipad, in general, seems to be more powerful and can easily process greater amounts of information. Cons: Unlike the Galaxy, you can't pair a bluetooth mouse with the Ipad unless you download an unapproved modification off the internet. Buying the same programs from the apple app store cost a lot more. example: Iannotate costs $10 on the apple store, for the android market, it is free. The same goes for quick office...10x more. And lastly, widgets cannot be used on the ipad. Widgets are one of the strong points of the Android tablets. And I miss them. Bottom line...The Ipad is an amazing product and you can just feel the quality, but apple is going to nickel and dime on you all the way.Read full review
Beyond the vastly improved screen there are a number of other upgrades worth mentioning. The iPad's processor has been upgraded to what Apple is calling an A5X. Like the A5 processor used in the iPad 2, this CPU remains dual-core. The "X" is there to signify that the graphics processor has been beefed up to quad-core. This seems to be a necessary measure for juggling four times the pixels of the previous model, but regardless, games and graphics perform fluidly. Against everyone's expectations, Apple did not include its Siri digital assistant on the new iPad--at least, not entirely. Siri's voice-to-text dictation capability has migrated to the iPad, but that's it. If you want to find nearby sushi restaurants, you're going to have to search for the answer online, like a neanderthal.
I have to say that the iPad is the best tablet ever. I really enjoy using it whether it be for business or entertainment. The Verizon LTE is really fast. I travel a lot and it is very useful. I travel to rural areas as well the speed drops down to 3G but it is still pretty quick. The Retina Display is truly amazing. The clarity of the screen when you are viewing a movie or tv show. Overall with the amazing apps that the app store contains I have to say it is the number 1 tablet in the market right now. For any use whether it be entertainment, reading, business, or school if you are looking for a tablet this is the one.
